Now hiring: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Greene County, New York. The job is at a busy gas installation company. You will complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces 2+ years on the tools preferred.
