Sample machinist wanted in Johnson County

You should have: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Day-to-day duties: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
