Ladle pourer wanted in Giles County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Giles County, Virginia. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Your main tasks: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Requirements: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
