Plastering hand — Presque Isle County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plastering hand in Presque Isle County, Michigan. The job is at a new-build housing development. Your main tasks: • Fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency What we are looking for: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
