Overlocker operator — Sussex County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Sussex County, New Jersey. Requirements: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory On the job you will handle: • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift Full-time, day shift.
