Vacancy available: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Santa Cruz County, California. You will work in a paint and spray workshop. The role involves: • Clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Mix and tint paint to match colour swatches • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover What we are looking for: • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application Rotating shifts.
