Motor grader operator — Borough of Thurrock

Immediate opening: we are hiring a motor grader operator in Borough of Thurrock, England. The job is on an earthmoving and excavation site. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination You will carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; check for underground cables and services before digging; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals.
