Plant operator — Port-Harcourt

Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. You will be based on a busy construction site. You will backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines. You should have: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance 3+ years on the tools preferred.
