GMAW welder — Reagan County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Reagan County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing Ideal candidate: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test 3+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
