Immediate opening: we are hiring a roofing technician in City of Franklin, Virginia. You will be based at a roofing and cladding contractor. On a typical shift you will replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens; install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; bed and point ridge tiles with mortar; seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing; fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts.
