PVC window fabricator — Sumter County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Sumter County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres On a typical shift you will cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
