On a typical shift you will read lift plans and method statements before starting; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio. Requirements: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather 5+ years on the tools preferred.
