Tyre and wheel fitter — City of Poquoson

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in City of Poquoson, Virginia. You will work in a tyre and puncture shop. Your main tasks: • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres Requirements: • Valid driving licence for mobile fitting roles • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
