Stainless steel welder • Harding County, New Mexico

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Harding County, New Mexico. On a typical shift you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols 1+ years on the tools preferred.
