Wood machinist — Clarke County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wood machinist in Clarke County, Alabama. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. What we are looking for: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Day-to-day duties: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board Part-time with flexible hours.
