Tig welder wanted in Josephine County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Josephine County, Oregon. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
