Foundry labourer • Gunnison County, Colorado

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Gunnison County, Colorado. The job is on the moulding line. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills You will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring.
