Tiling assistant • Hancock County, Mississippi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Hancock County, Mississippi. You will be based at a busy tiling site. On a typical shift you will lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away; grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line. Ideal candidate: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage Full-time, day shift.
