Immediate opening: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Hernando County, Florida. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing.
