Great opportunity: we are hiring a mall security guard in Ketchikan Gateway Borough, Alaska. The job is at a hotel entrance. The role involves: • Patrol the premises on foot at fixed intervals • Check fire exits, locks, gates and seals during rounds • Hand over the duty register and brief the next shift at handover • Operate the metal detector and hand-held scanner at the door • Frisk people and run bag checks at the entry point • Write up incident reports after any disturbance You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • 1-2 years experience as a security guard • Alert, disciplined and punctual Part-time with flexible hours.
