Milling machinist — Madison County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Madison County, Idaho. You will be based in a toolroom. You should have: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Six days a week, one day off.
