Immediate opening: we are hiring a single needle operator in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council, England. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently The role involves: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. We offer £2,600 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
