Aluminium tig welder — Otoe County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Otoe County, Nebraska. The role involves clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
