Insulation installer — Vale of Glamorgan

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an insulation installer in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. Day to day you will lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters. Requirements: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Physically fit, able to lift and carry boards and rolls • Disciplined about PPE — respirator, gloves and goggles Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
