Now hiring: uPVC window fabricator (Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in City of Petersburg, Virginia. You will work on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Your main tasks: • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash What we are looking for: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges 6+ years on the tools preferred.
