VMC operator • Loudon County, Tennessee

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a VMC operator in Loudon County, Tennessee. The job is in a CNC machining unit. Ideal candidate: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Your main tasks: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
