Urgent requirement: elevator service technician (New York)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Ulster County, New York. You will work at a busy lift company. Requirements: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Valid driving licence for site call-outs Day to day you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; run load and overload tests with test weights. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $140 per day, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends.
