Vacancy available: we are hiring a confectioner in Montgomery County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials You should have: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • 2+ years' experience as a baker 5+ years on the tools preferred.
