Immediate opening: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Carter County, Oklahoma. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Your main tasks: • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
