Plastering hand wanted in Hamilton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a plastering hand in Hamilton County, New York. On a typical shift you will apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; check walls for plumb and level as you go; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming. Requirements: • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic $5,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
