The role involves: • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates • Feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer Requirements: • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop 6+ years on the tools preferred.
