Site safety steward wanted in Kossuth County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in Kossuth County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy construction site. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
