Sand plant operator wanted in Cumberland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Cumberland County, Virginia. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor On the job you will handle: • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Part-time with flexible hours.
