Heavy equipment operator — Wurno

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Wurno, Sokoto State. You will be based at a road-building project. Your main tasks: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures Part-time with flexible hours.
