Press operator — Northwest Hills Planning Region

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press operator in Northwest Hills Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work on the press shop floor. On the job you will handle: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Six days a week, one day off.
