Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Stevens County, Minnesota. The role involves: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience.
