Elevator service technician • Haakon County, South Dakota

Immediate opening: we are hiring an elevator service technician in Haakon County, South Dakota. You will be based at a busy lift company. On a typical shift you will replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; run load and overload tests with test weights; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
