The role involves: • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Meals and transport allowance provided.
