Join our team: we are hiring an argon welder in Rock County, Minnesota. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) The role involves weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
