Now hiring: we are hiring a bench joiner in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience Full-time with occasional weekends.
