Metal caster • Bastrop County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Bastrop County, Texas. You will work in the melting bay of a steel foundry. You will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Full-time, day shift.
