Now hiring: coating plant operator (Oregon)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Clatsop County, Oregon. You will be based in a busy paint shop. The role involves: • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks Requirements: • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
