Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Pitkin County, Colorado. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. The role involves watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL); keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block. What we are looking for: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Current medical and eyesight certificate Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts.
