Bar bender and fixer • Adavi, Kogi State

Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Adavi, Kogi State. You will be based on a busy residential building site. The role involves bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
