Gas pipeline fitter • Wayne County, West Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Wayne County, West Virginia. The role involves: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
