We are recruiting: mobile crane operator (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mobile crane operator in Cabarrus County, North Carolina. You will be based in a warehouse fitted with overhead cranes. Day to day you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Able to read load charts and lifting plans $30 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
