Join our team: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Dorchester County, Maryland. Day-to-day duties: • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
