Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Franklin County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code Day to day you will run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; load and index turning tools in the turret; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; run first-off inspection and sign off the part.
