We are recruiting: we are hiring a metal caster in Linn County, Kansas. Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling The role involves: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience.
