Pipe TIG welder wanted in Allegheny County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. You will work on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Your main tasks: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
